She had recently been worried that Legolas was taking on too much agreeing to lead Mirkwood but now he was going to lead three great groups of elves… He didn’t know what she would think. As well as all the amazing happy thoughts welling inside him he had a niggling thought at the back of his head about what he would tell Aara. He was already leader of Mirkwood but had been voted as leader of all three tribes of elves to lead them all into the huge battle that was to be against the Dark Lord, Sauron. Legolas went back to his chamber feeling proud. The orks were still faithful to him but even so against such a powerful race of beings they could be defeated if the enemy was strong-willed enough. It had been tried many times before but never with such powerful determination from all races. The elves of Rivendell, Lorien and Mirkwood had combined forces to overpower him completely.
